Scripture Memory Team 2026 – Verse 9

Scripture Memory Team

1 Sep

I was out early enough this morning to see the bright moon still shining in the blue western sky. I stopped and took a picture of the beauty hanging securely in place. I say securely because it was surrounded by what looked like at least 20 different wires connected to poles outlined against the same blue sky. And there was the moon - no wires attached - held by a very mighty and glorious God. I found myself thinking about this month’s Scripture memory verse:  “Lord, to whom shall we ... I *could* cut my hydrangeas…

Reflections

31 Aug

I've been enjoying talking a walk in our neighborhood early mornings.  One day as I returned and was admiring the blooms in the little garden at the back door, I heard that still small voice whisper that I *could* cut my hydrangeas for my friend Cynthia‘s daughter‘s wedding. I grabbed my gloves, shears, and a couple buckets.  As I cut each stem and put them in the water buckets, I realized they were the exact colors scheme of her daughter Sarah's wedding: green and rose. Scripture Memory Team

Happy August! And happy Scripture Memory Team day!  The Salesman‘s dad turned 86 and family gathered to celebrate him. I was so tickled to be with them as my health had kept me from too many gatherings. Matthew 28:20b  There are times in life when we feel alone. I remember ... Read More about Scripture Memory Team 2026 – Verse 8

Scripture Memory Team

1 Jul

Happy July, friends! And, Happy Scripture Memory Team day! Miriam Webster defines impossible as: “Incapable of Occurrence: Physically, logically, or mathematically unable to happen or be performed.” I told this amazing story to a friend this last week and had no idea that the Lord was reviving it from my memories to go along with this month’s memory verse. It’s a longer read than normal; but it’s so good. It’s so GOD. When our children were little, we used the envelope system ... Read More about Scripture Memory Team 2026 – Verse 7

Scripture Memory Team 2026 – Verse 6

Scripture Memory Team

1 Jun

Happy June! And, a Happy Scripture Memory Team day! For Mother’s Day I was given a beautiful four-scenes-in-one-puzzle and a set of sorter boxes - which was so helpful with 1000 pieces. The different scenes reminded me of the four seasons. I completed what I considered the easiest sections of this puzzle first, gravitating to the light colored scenes. The last section I pieced together was VanGogh’s “Wild Roses” which although beautiful, had basically four different colors: black, green, ... Read More about Scripture Memory Team 2026 – Verse 6
