I’m about to embark on one of the most exciting and unnerving adventures in my recent walk with the LORD. I am planning to go to Atlanta this weekend for the Beth Moore live simulcast. After a wonderful day of worship and teaching, there is going to be a little gathering of Siesta’s Saturday evening and God has opened a door and I’ve been asked to share something the LORD has given me. The LORD has done HIS part and given me something beautiful to share. But as the words are neatly typed and rhymed on the paper, clipped together and ready in my stack that will go in my bag tomorrow; I am starting to feel anxious.
On the beautiful drive home just the other day, I stopped to take the picture of the wildflowers shown above because it made me think of the Truth of this passage of Scripture where I am standing hour by hour and moment by moment:
Matthew 6:30-34 (The Message)
If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
His Word is good! This passage speaks to where I am today. I am praying that this Word would settle in my bones and calm my spirit. I want to steep my life in Him and I do not want to worry about standing and sharing what God’s given me. I do not want to worry that my car has been in the shop since Friday and is still there and I am scheduled to leave Thursday – tomorrow. Would you join me in prayer? Thank you kindly and His abundant blessings to each of you.

I am sad that I won't be at the gathering on Saturday night. But I will be praying for you! Praying that God will calm and comfort you and give you a boldness to share what He has given you. Praying that your vehicle will be out of the shop and will run smoothly to Atlanta and back. And I am praying that I will get to meet you on Saturday.
Love,
Cindy

I'll be praying! I'll be at the event Sat. but not Sat. evening. I love how this post confirms things that God is working into my spirit this week. I'm working around my house, listening to praise music, reading the Word, "piddling" as the old-timers would say, but I think that this is exactly what He is calling me to do right now.

Yes, I knew Lora would have something I needed to read. The Lord did not fail me by directing me here. Printing this out for me to read over and over again. You will do great. God is using you. Go and flow siesta! thanks much, B

Lora Lovin Osborn, I can't wait to see you and I so wish that I was staying over on Saturday night, so I could be a part of what God has put on your heart to share with women that LOVE DEEPLY because they grasp the LOVE OF JESUS DEEPLY into their own hearts.
Lovingly,
Yolanda

Cindy, Ginger, Leah and Yolanda, I look forward to hugging your necks. I will be working at the product tables for LPM before, during and after the event on Saturday. Please stop by and say hello! I will miss you all Saturday evening.
I thank you all for joining me in continued prayers. May His blessings be evident to you all. I so appreciate your prayers. This is very much outside my comfort zone!

Lora, God is standing with you as you stand on His word! He will rest your soul and bless you with great fruit! Yes, a blessed day is in store for you tomorrow!
And, your words were very instrumental in ministering to my soul this evening. I needed to hear them, dear friend! Thank you for obeying God!

Lora,
Just your presence is a glimpse of grace.
Do you realize that?
It emits from you like the glow of a lightning bug. He just can't help lighting up darkness.
I wish I could have stayed but I had to get back home. It was a joy seeing you and listening to you talk about His call on your life. Walk where He leads you.
Hugs and Butterfly Wishes to you!
