Today I’ll share a tour of flowers in our yard. I enjoy the beauty of flowers and plants. This last week I went to lunch with my mentor friend, Vicky, and she wanted to go to Lowe’s afterwards! We did! She bought me three new plants: basil, delphinium and lamb’s ear. She said she was starting to celebrate my birthday early! What fun!!!
This snowball bush is in our neighbor’s yard; but the blooms hang over the fence into our yard…the blooms are glorious!
In planters with greenery…
The Indian Hawthorne blooms…
An easy grower…
The rains also produced mushrooms…
In several places…
Peonies…
Lilies…one of my fond memories from our North Carolina home was that the day lilies were always blooming on Audra’s birthday! Her birthday is the month. A previous owner must have planted this miniature variety. I’m thankful to have them in the landscaping.
These are two of my new additions from Vicky! And thanks to Victoria Leigh, they are now planted in the landscaping!
The bright hydrangea blooms…
One of my all-time favorite flowers, the gardenia…
One hydrangea plant, so many wonderful colors…
Purple and pink…
Thank you kindly for joining me for the tour!
