A couple weeks ago at church, our pastor handed out 4×6 cards and asked us to to answer the question:
Why am I alive?
When I put the pen to my card, I just wrote what I felt the LORD saying to me. I felt like a scribe and just marveled at what HE said to me. I didn’t have to form the words or think about what my response would be, I just wrote it down:
I’m so thankful for the written Word of GOD. I am also thankful for the Rhema Word of GOD. HE is alive and active today. Hallelujah!
It is a new season for me. Empty nest. Audra and Matthew have moved to a home of their own. Victoria Leigh has settled back into her senior year of college. My dad has been alive with Jesus for one year now. The big house is quiet now. The days are very different. And I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what I’d do in this new season. What is GOD’s will for me? I am certain HE will direct me. I am certain HE has specific plans and purposes. And it will be good. Hallelujah!
Pray with me for HIS will for work and speaking and writing.
It’s a new season! Joy awaits! Good days are ahead!

It can be exciting when we enter a new season of life. I am certain He will direct you, too.
I loved your last line: It's a new season! Joy awaits! Good days are ahead!
At first, I didn't see empty nesting as joyous but now I do!
