Happy Friday, friends! I hope you are having a great week.
I’ve been feeling a bit sentimental this last week… It was my dad’s birthday on the thirtieth and I’ve thought much of him and missed him. And then felt more sentimental when I looked at pictures to share a favorite lamp light with you.
I selected this series of pictures with my youngest, Victoria, for purely sentimental reasons. You know she graduated from college in April and moved out and started work in the real world. I am a blessed mama. During Victoria’s high school years, my dear friend, Fran, took Victoria under her wing and invited her and me, almost weekly, into her home to do life with her and her family. We had many a fun adventure at Fran’s house. We learned to make and do many new things.
The light was evident through Fran. And I remember when I looked at her simple tree, how lovely I thought it was then, and how lovely I still think it is now. How lovely to be invited to share life with a friend in their home. How wonder filled family and relationships are to me.
To see the beauty of light reflected in people and pictures is lovely to me.
To shine the light of learning with others…
To lean into the light…
To carefully complete a new task…
To delight in the new…
To keep on, keeping on…
To let the light shine in you…
I pray the light continues to shine in and through you! Happy weekend!
