Happy end of the week to you! I hope you have had a great week! My friend, Lisa, told me about an auction here in town. I went and previewed the house and found so many beautiful items and was blessed to have a friend that was a relative of the home owner give me a tour. It was enjoyable to hear some of the history of the items that were being auctioned from this lovely home.
Of course, I found some beautiful lamp lights. This rose colored beauty hung in the center stairway and it reminded me of the spindles and stairway in our historic home on West Fourth Avenue when we lived in North Carolina.
Look at the cherubs on this entryway chandelier…oh my…I was told that this lovely light use to hang in a local jewelry store. Are the cherubs waving or blessing or holding something in their hands? I read an article today about a piece of religious art and it shared how the Lord’s hand was in a similar position and it talked about “the blessing position”, so now I’m curious. Seriously though, look at the detail of the flowers and the wax…oh my – such beauty! And the one bulb that is out…
Ok, this has to be my favorite… Such beauty in our town. Such beauty all around!
And this view of the lamp light with the Greek styled patio furniture…
Look up, my friends!
Happy weekend!
