At ninety-two,
She is delightful and lovely, too.
My grandma.
My best friend.
My valentine.
She is the most beautiful woman in the world to me.
She has loved me well –
And oh, the stories she does tell…
She has loved me and my family well.
She is a listener, a communicator, a story teller.
She is the only grandmother I have ever known on my mother’s side.
She is patient, and she is kind,
My Grandma Mavis, is my lovely Valentine!
