Happy Memorial Day!!! I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable day with your family and friends. Do you have big plans for the day? Traditional activities you do every year? Whatever you do, I pray that your day is good. I am so thankful for a day to remember those who have died while serving our country.
Since it is a holiday, I’m sharing a draft from the archives today. This one is from 2009, and I believe Victoria Leigh helped prepare this recipe. My sister-in-love, Nancy, had given me the Come to the Table book and we were working our way through it’s beautiful pages.

With temperatures in the 50’s and neighbors hanging wash on their clotheslines, it was the perfect day for a Picnic Steak Salad recipe from Come to the Table.
It was scrumptious. The dressing was my favorite.
