Happy end of the week, friends!
When Victoria Leigh and I took our trip to the Carolina’s, we enjoyed some thrift store shopping. The Salesman’s mom introduced us to a darlin’ little shop, Second Appreciation. It is quaint and full of various treasures and run by very friendly people!
And look what I found, a cousin to my vintage pendant swag lamps that I shared here last week! I did not buy this beauty; but was tickled to see it in the shop. I don’t know about you; but when we get a new car, it seems like I notice the make and model we’ve just gotten, everywhere. I felt a bit like this with the rippled white matte glass! It was just fun to see this after just buying the swag lamps!
It seemed that every inch of the store, ceiling included, was a display for vintage treasures. And, Victoria Leigh found two records here for her collection!
I thought the white flowers in this print were pretty, and the tulip scones were absolutely gorgeous. I was actually taking a picture of this matador print for a friend. Notice a pretty something hanging from the ceiling here, too!
They also had a fabulous collection of vintage clothes and hats! Look at this pink beauty! Some part of me wishes that hats like this were still in fashion. And notice a yellow umbrella hanging from the ceiling in the very corner of this picture! Sometimes we just forget to look up. There was beauty all around in this shop.
Look up, my friends!
And happy weekend!
