From the moment I lifted my eyes to see the first chandelier, I knew I was going to like the Shepard Inn. Built in 1820, it is the perfect blend of history and beauty.
Friends had invited me to have lunch with them, and the timing of their invitation was just perfect. They were good company, and I felt like I was having lunch in a museum!
I found loveliness in every corner of the Inn…
The sconces may have been my favorite…
What a beautiful reflection on the entry way ceiling this antique fixture gave…
Beautiful up close detail…
One of the most elegant clocks I’ve ever seen. I think this is absolutely beautiful and if you are looking for a gift for me, why yes, I’d love this!
This view of the side porch looks so inviting…
The colors on the lamp base…the details…the drapes, the wooden doors…
Lovely…
And stately lamp lights on the front porch…
I hope you have a relaxing holiday weekend, friends.
Look up! There is beauty all around.
