Happy start of the weekend to you, friends! I hope your weekend is full of wonder.
We stopped by my friend Tammy’s new-to-her, 100 year old home and just oohed and aahed over the architecture, the woodwork, the vintage patterned carpets, and of course, over the lamp lights. We just really enjoy and appreciate older homes. They have so much character and charm! The layout of Tammy’s home was wonderful from the library with built-ins and a cozy fireplace, to spacious living areas where we meandered to the den on the opposite wing of the home. We then went up a solid and sturdy staircase to large rooms and hallways big enough to be rooms. It is a lovely 100 year 0ld home. Tammy is considering blogging about the process of moving in and making it home. She is a phenomonal friend and an amazing decorator.
There were several stunning fixtures and chandeliers in this historic home; but my favorite lamp was this beautiful Hollywood Regency swag lamp.
