For the love of lamp lights, hello Hilton!
I was so glad that I looked up. Is this not the most beautiful sight? Well, I thought it was, especially after traveling in the rain. This beauty was right there in the hotel lobby of The Hilton Garden Inn.
Gorgeous.
I often say that the best part of working at home is going out for meetings and appointments… Combine that with the fact that my oldest daughter lives in Nashville, it’s a win-win day.
Rain, and more rain, doesn’t matter.
Put my OOO Oikos Yogurt in the hotel fridge and I turned up the dial inside to make it colder because I thought it wasn’t on, and now have frozen yogurt that even the plastic spoon I packed can’t penetrate, doesn’t matter.
Brought a darling white Ralph Lauren button up blouse for the business meeting, and did not bring all I needed to wear with it, doesn’t matter.
Insurance stinks, until you need it. Or until you travel to a meeting in the town close to where your oldest daughter lives.
Life can sometimes be full of rain,
Disappointment, frustration, and even pain.
I am determined not to let my circumstances dictate my attitude, nor my outlook. I am on a treasure hunt for beauty, and I am finding it on every search and adventure.
I am looking up. It’s a beautiful life. Look up, my friends, there is beauty all around us.
