Finding Beauty in Every Face & Place – A Reflection

A Beautiful Life

26 Jun

Last week while waiting for The Salesman to pick me up outside a store downtown, I snapped this lovely reflection mere moments before I  heard the beep beep of his car horn signaling he was ready to roll.  I marveled at the beauty when I was standing outside the shop window in person soaking it all in; but, in reflecting on the reflection, I see much that I truly think is beautiful. Please join me in counting all that is beautiful and lovely in the reflection:

The window pane that was captured in such a way that it makes a cross with no cropping – I just love this!

A Lamp Light – About 12 years ago, I named my blog: By The Lamp Light

Architecture – The Salesman and I both enjoy architecture

Blue skies remind me of the faithfulness of God

Fashion – the flowing dress and the shoe vendor names listed on the glass – I’ve always enjoyed fashion

Flowers and leaves- these paper creations are truly stunning and I so enjoy flowers

The varying shades of white – my favorite color

Plants – green is The Salesman’s favorite color

The American Flag – proud to be an American

Cars coming and going remind me of my current favorite song called “The Blessing”

The word “Ease” because this treasure hunt I am on for beauty, could certainly be described as something that comes naturally to me.  I am curious, what do you see in the picture that you think is beautiful? I’d love to hear from you.

Oh, look up my friends, there is beauty all around us.

Happy weekend.
