I got a tattoo. Are you surprised?
.
.
It’s a Bible verse!
.
.
Oh, it is only a temporary tattoo to aid in Scripture memory.
Gotcha, didn’t I?
I will never forget when my youngest shared with me about a tattoo she was thinking of getting. Some conversations will be forever etched in my mind; but, not that one, because the details were impertinent. It was the way she chose to share with me. Yes, I will always remember the honor she gave me in communicating her thoughts and plans with me.
When I heard about this company, Dwell Differently, that was promoting an easy and new way to memorize the Word, I was intrigued because I am interested in hiding God’s Word in my heart and this Scripture Memory Team is very important to me. New can be good, so I thought I’d check it out. And since it involved a tattoo, I wondered what my children would say when they saw me with a tattoo…IF I decided to get one.
Dwell Differently is a monthly membership that every month takes one verse, makes a design and puts that design on a:
- Print with a devotional on the reverse side
- Key tag to go on your keychain with the verse on the reverse side
- Temporary tattoo.
Every time you look at your wrist, hand, windowsill (wherever you put your tattoo) you are going to be challenged to recall what each letter represents. I am excited to try this new way of learning the Word. And, it will provide a great opportunity to share if someone asks me about my tattoo. My temporary tattoo. Dwell sent 3 of the temporary tattoos for this verse.
So, here I am with my new verse and my tattoo. Well, my temporary tattoo:
Lora Osburn, Morristown, TN: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20b
I love the design that features mustard seeds and mountains. And, don’t we all have mountains? We all have different mountains, or obstacles; but, the same God. I am thankful that our mustard seed of faith in God can move mountains. Hallelujah! Come join me in memorizing the Word this month and let’s grow our faith in the Ever Faithful One.
I am so looking forward to reading your verse in the comments! We are on our 10th verse, friends! Wow! If we were together, we would celebrate! Just know that I am cheering you on as you memorize God’s Word.
Sure do love you.

I John 5:11
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
This is my testimony! Yes and amen.
Love your temporary tattoo!
