Once I checked all my errands off my list, I decided to take a Sunday afternoon drive on Thursday, and enjoy the leaves on my way home. Just so you know, not everyone in town was on my leisurely pace. In fact, the following picture was taken because the person behind me was in a hurry, so I just pulled over and parked. No judgement from me, because I’ve been in a hurry many times myself. I’m just trying to live out what I’ve learned in this season.
And, I decided these red leaves were my favorite set against the light brick and one cloud sky.
Until I stood underneath this brilliant beauty on my street…
While cars rushed by, I stood on a crunchy carpet of leaves closer to home under this stories high kaleidoscope of color and soaked in the awning of a magnificent Creator.
There is so much beauty to see. The local leaves are a favorite to me.
Look up my friends, there is beauty all around us.
