Trim Healthy Mama – Lavash Crackers Recipe & Review

Trim Healthy Mama

These easy crackers will satisfy any crunch craving or chip texture that you feel you may have been missing.  And, they are so easy to make and require no special ingredients. So, add these ingredients to your market list and then make them and crunch away! They are tasty!
Ingredients:
Joseph’s Lavash Bread – available on the bread aisle
Coconut Oil Spray
Any seasoning combination you would like to sprinkle on top of your crackers before baking
Directions:
1.  Lightly spray a cookie sheet with coconut oil
2.  Place 1 Joseph’s Lavash bread on the cookie sheet and spray the top of the bread
3.  Sprinkle with any seasoning combo or Mineral Salt you’d like. I used Everything Bagel Seasoning (from Aldi)
4.  Use a pizza cutter to cut the bread into cracker sized squares. I got 36 crackers per lavash.
5.  Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes until brown.
6.  Enjoy
Notes:
Half a lavish is serving.
These crackers are a personal choice item and are considered an S (satisfying) or and E (energizing) option.
Store in individual glass jars or containers and they will keep for almost 2 weeks – if they last that long!

Just think of all the options they’d be perfect with:

Pear or apple

Marmalade

Cucumber, tomato and onion

Hummus

Cheese platter or a THM cheese ball

Spinach artichoke dip

Chicken or tuna salad

Chili or soups

Salsa or Pico

Peanut butter or almond butter

A little dab of butter

The are so many different versions you could make of this cracker.  Here are a few suggestions:

Brush with rosemary infused olive oil and mineral salt – I did this and added my Young Living Rosemary oil and thought they had a robust flavor.  This was my personal favorite!

Chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and romano cheese for a Dorito flavor

Cinnamon and nutmeg and Gentle Sweet for a sweet option

Garlic Powder and salt

Ranch seasoning

Cayenne and salt

Lime and salt

Taco seasoning

Which cracker version is most appealing to you?  Let me know in the comments which one you would make first. Please also share if you have made these crackers and what version you made.

Make these easy crackers Mamas and crunch away!

The Salesman approves.  I approve.   And, three thumbs up from my THM taste testing friends!

Enjoy!
