Happy November 1st! It’s a new month, in what I think is the most wonderful time of year, and it’s time to memorize a new memory verse!
I am going to see if I can recall my last verse from memory right here, live on the blog:
Galations 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control against such things there is no law.”
I got it! If you remember, I worked on these two verses the entire month of October and I felt bad at first that it took me so long; but, I did it! I ended well. It is easy to quit. I am glad that I kept on memorizing. There is nothing more that the enemy would want us to do than quit. Let’s march on with our sixteenth verse.
I am using the Dwell Differently program to memorize and the verse they selected this month is just right on target with me. I am on day eight of my mean green juice fast and, well, let me make my entry and you will understand:
Lora Osburn, Morristown, TN “Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God:”’ Matthew 4:4 NIV
This verse encourages me that I don’t live on bread, or juice, alone; but, I live on the Word of God. Come on, let’s hear it!
Let’s speak out the truth of the Word of God.
Let’s allow it to alter our thoughts and paths.
Let’s live differently because of His Words.
He can sustain us with a heavenly mana, that will not leave us weak.
I am looking forward to reading your verse in the comments. I sure do love you and esteem you highly in love.
