Hydration Challenge

Natural Healing

6 Jan

So we are in the first 6 days of taking a step towards our health with a Hydration Challenge and the handle fell off my water pitcher yesterday!  Yes, I had just grabbed it out of the dishwasher and filled it to my daily mark for half my body weight in water and was pouring two cups in the blender to make sugar-free lemonade, when I got my second shower of the day.

The Salesman walked through the waterpark/kitchen on the way to work, saw the handle and water EVERYWHERE and made some comment about all I needed was some super glue… And all I was thinking was that I need some absorbent paper towels, a dish cloth, and a mop.  Do you have a man that solves all the worlds problems with superglue?  AnyWho, I did not let the fact that the handle fell off sidetrack me from drinking my water today.  I have you know, I used that pitcher without the handle!

I am so excited about the hydration challenge for many reasons; but when I got my Dwell verse and it was:

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” I Thessalonians 5:11, I knew that this challenge would be a great way to encourage others in an area the Lord has given me some success.  But this for certain, I can’t encourage anyone without Him.  In, and of myself, I’m a broken handle off of a water pitcher. I’m sharing this because inevitably when we set goals, along come distractions and struggles along the way. But, sisters, we gotta keep moving forward, onward, and upward.

It’s taking the blessings, and the breaks, one day at a time, and pressing on!

Tell me in the comments your Wednesday Water Tracking!
