Local dance party invitation

Natural Healing

18 Jan

I have been thinking about getting my own disco ball.  I don’t know about you; but, life needs a little more fun. And dancing.

And just so you know, I cannot dance.  Even though The Salesman and I took dance lessons almost thirty years ago.  The formal lessons did not stick.  I still have two left feet.  Back when I was being installed as *the queen* for soriety, there was going to be a formal dance and The Salesman said if it was expected for us to dance, we needed lessons.

Besides spontaneous dance parties in our kitchen, or doing the *Winner Dance* when I ‘d win playing a game with my family, I don’t think I’d danced since that formal dance until I went to a health and wellness talk back when the leaves were starting to turn colors.  Dr. Edie talked about breaking the stress cycle and the next thing I knew, we were doing a dance train around the room!  We were laughing, dancing, and having a good time.  I sat down and smiled all the way down to my two left feet.

And where was my stress?

When I posted a video clip of our fun, I had so many friends message me and say something along these lines:

“Let me know when you do that again, I’d like to go”

So, grab your dance shoes because this Tuesday evening, there is going to be another dance party/health and wellness talk.  Now, seriously, I don’t know that we will dance again; but, that same doctor is going to talk health and wellness this Tuesday evening.  I’d be glad to share the dance hall location and information with you.

I stumbled upon natural alternatives when I had no medical options.  I’ve found health and laughter, and dancing, along the way.
