Happy February 1st! I am so excited about the first of the month and a new memory verse for our Scripture Memory Team! WooHoo!
Now, before we go any further, you might be wondering why I’m posting that this is verse 2 when I did verse 2 on the 15th of January. Let me explain.
Last year was interesting to say the least. One really good thing that came out of the year was re-starting this Scripture Memory Team. I was tickled that a lot of new people joined the team for the first time. Because I would like for as many people to stay engaged in consistently memorizing the Word, I am switching to memorizing one verse a month. Twenty four verses a year may seem daunting; but, one a month is doable! So, we are going to pivot and go with memorizing one verse a month in hopes that more people will not only join the team; but, stay on the team.
Every team member picks their own verse to memorize each month, or you are welcome to join me in memorizing the verse I choose. I am going to continue with the Dwell Differently format. The Dwell system for memorizing the Word works! Every month they provide you with a graphic that gives the first letter of each word of the verse. You also get three temporary tattoos, a key card for your keychain, the verse on a card, and a devotional. Dwell Differently makes it so easy to memorize the Word.
Join in the comments with your verse and then work on memorizing your verse this month! Let’s do this thing!
