Happy March 1st and Happy Scripture Memory Team day! Hoorah! I am excited to be memorizing Truth with my friends. Before we march on to our new verse, I want to type my February verse from memory:
“For you were once darkness; but now you are light in the Lord, live as children of Light.” Ephesians 5:8
I did it! Yay! The Dwell Differently way of memorizing Scripture works! Dwell sends you a creative graphic with the first letter of each word of the verse in the picture and it makes tucking the Word in our hearts easy.
The wind is blowing in the new month as I share my March verse:
Lora, Morristown, Tn:
‘But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
Pierced.
Crushed.
And punished.
For my sin.
And yours.
Every negative thought, word, or action that I’ve ever had is positively absent in the deep wounds of:
His hands.
His head.
His side.
His feet.
His whole body.
Oh, how great the love that He granted me.
And you.
This verse is the weighty Truth of what the Savior of the world took upon Himself for me.
And you.
There is not one iota of me that desires piercing, crushing, or punishment; but, by His wounds, He offers healing for everything I have ever done.
And everything you have ever done.
All my transgressions and all my iniquities were traded in for peace and healing.
My thoughts are reeling
That His piercing, crushing and punishment, for my transgressions and iniquities leads to peace and healing!
Oh how great a love!
Join in the comments with your verse. I esteem you highly in love for joining in this journey!
