Marinated Flat Iron Steak

If you are looking for a quick and easy summertime meal, save this recipe and when you are asked, “What’s for dinner?”

You can say:

Marinated Flat Iron Steak

With a side of Killer Green Beans

Recipe for Marinated Flat Iron Steak:

1 1/2 pound flat iron steak

2 tablespoons oil

1/2 cup coconut amino’s

1/2 teaspoon mineral salt

1/4 tsp ground ginger

3 drops black pepper vitality oil

1/4 tsp garlic powder

 

  1.  Mix all ingredients thoroughly and marinate the steak for one hour before cooking.

 

     2.  Fry the steak in a hot skillet for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Discard the marinade. These steaks taste best at medium rare.

 

The Salesman asked if I was “frying the green beans?”

I knew what he was talking about because ever since I’ve made the Killer Green Beans that are on page 261 of the Trim Healthy Table cookbook, they’ve become a favorite.

If you haven’t made them yet, go make them Mamas, they are Salesman approved.

This is a perfect summertime meal.
