Happy September 1st!
🧡
And Happy Scripture Memory Team day!
💗
I logged in to prepare my verse post and there was one whole line of August’s verse post just staring at me; but never published. In all of my years of hosting a Scripture Memory Team, I don’t believe that has ever happened. I apologize. A little over five weeks ago, we got sick and not much of anything was done by me, including blog posts. Thank you for grace and understanding.
We are feeling so much better and were so blessed by our friends and neighbors. We had meals, groceries, flowers and goodies delivered to our back porch. I have the best friends ever.
Thank you all kindly for your care and concern and prayers.
I am so thankful for health and wellness and a new month!
September is one of my favorite months and I love kicking it off with learning a new verse.
Deuteronomy 11:18a says:
“Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds…”
Oh there are many things that I would like to *fix* these days, how about you?
But what if I focused on the one thing that would not wither or fade?
What if I treasured God’s Word in my heart and in my mind?
What if I dwelt on the Truth of the Word instead of trying to *fix* everything or everyone?
The Word of God is the fix for everything that needs to be fixed.
If you are not a part of our Scripture Memory Team, join us today. Say hello and type our verse out in the comments, so we can give you a warm welcome.
I am so glad you are here to memorize The Word.
With love,
Lora
