The beginning and ending phrases of this section of Psalm 86 are like bookends of Truths holding up more Truth.
There is No one is like You.
You alone are God.
But the words of work and worship and wondrous deeds that are in the middle are eternal Truths, too. Let’s put it all together and rejoice:
“There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like Yours.
All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And they shall glorify Your name.
For You are great and do wondrous deeds;
You alone are God.”
