I paused to enjoy the grocery store flowers and quite marveled at the mix of colors added in with the pink carnations. At first, I wasn’t sure they belonged together. Esthetically I thought the bold yellow of the Alstroemeria or the baby’s breath might be my choice.

Life is kinda like this first bouquet – a mix of people with different opinions that don’t always mesh; but the more I look at them, and appreciate their uniqueness, I believe they can be beautiful together. (Insert any real issue here we feel strongly about.) The Lord, He created us all and designed us differently and placed us in communities – sometimes close proximity to others that share very different opinions; but gives us the ability to live in unity. He gives a blessing for it, too. Psalm 133. Even in our current season.
