No joke about it, it’s one of the happiest days of the month for me and this verse is filled with such hope:
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:13
The truth of this Scripture just hits home for me because sometimes I feel:

Dreams
The *thing* about feelings, they lie to us.
They can tell us the worst when in reality, the thread of our lives is drenched in the precious blood of Jesus Christ that bids us to draw near and hem us close to Him.
We can be hemmed close to Him.
Jesus.
Jesus Christ Himself.
We are never – ever – alone, no matter what it looks like, no matter what it feels like, no matter who we are, or where we are going.
Jesus has a way of showing up to people like us who feel:

Today.
If you feel F A R, I want you to know based on the Truth of God’s Word, He Is Near.
Yes.

We are near to the one and only, Jesus.
