Happy April and Happy Scripture Memory Team day!!! 
This month’s verse is all about the great exchange:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
The same God that raised Jesus from the dead can work miracles in us, too. Take heart if you need a change of heart; but in and of yourself – nothing you’ve tried has worked.
If your heart and spirit are worn out from trying to change on your own, God can take the old heart, the old spirit and exchanges them for new! Give Him what is old – what you’ve held onto that doesn’t, and never will, work. He is waiting to give you new.
He’s waiting to do heart surgery without scheduling an operation. At your ask, He will give you a heart of flesh for a heart of stone.
Ask.
Ask God.
He will exchange old and stony for new.
I’ve been on the trading floor of life, holding up my empty pleasures and crying out for change, for some *thing* new; but the trading of the simple pleasures of this life for God’s lasting and eternal offer, is the The Only Way to exchange the old for new.
