His mercies are new every morning 
Yesterday as my mentor and I walked out on the back porch, I shared I thought I would miss my own Peonies blooming because of an adventure that was taking me far from home; but ever closer to family. She smiled ever so sweetly; but I don’t remember that she gave a response. As I reflect, I’d say she prayed I’d be able to enjoy the blooms at home and abroad. When I opened the shutters this morning, I saw the most beautiful bloom in my own garden. The second picture is what I saw in the coolness of the morning.
