June is in bloom! Happy June and blessed Scripture Memory Team Day! This month’s verse is part of the Lord’s prayer and a familiar one:
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10
As I meditated on the verse early this morning, I wrote down a little poem:
Your will
Your way
Your kingdom, today
I surrender my want
My way
To You, today
I lay aside
Any desire and plans
That is of me, this earthly woman
May heaven and earth
Collide
As in Your kingdom, I abide
In this posture
Of daily surrender
Keep my heart humble and tender
To You
To Your Will
Your kingdom, Today
I submit
To the One True God
The eternal King
In every, yes everything.
