I’m reflecting on words that I’d heard a while back and penned in my journal. As I’m preparing for a speaking event next week, I’ve found myself re-reading some of my notes and came across a page that was tucked in between speaking notes. At first, I thought these words have nothing to do with the topic that I am preparing; but the more I re-read the words, I think it may be right on topic. I’ve been asked to share my journey of getting rid of 100 plus pounds of weight.
First, here are the words I came across in my journal:

I do believe that anger and hate can weigh us down. We don’t have time for that. We don’t have time for anger and hate. We have the power and authority to release people, places, and events that may have caused anger or hate.
