Several months ago, one of my friends introduced me to what may be one of my favorite finds of the year:
Calloway’s Lamp and Shade.
This friend, is also the kind one that found these vintage swag pendants for me. She shares a love of lamps, and has also been a wealth of information on where to find replacement lampshades, or to get repair work done on any lamp treasures we may find while thrifting.
Every time I’ve visited the family owned Calloway’s store, I see so many beautiful and unique lamps, like this vintage Italian alabaster and gold leaf lamp:
Or this exquisite one…the base, the lily-white flower like petals, the perfectly paired shade…
The lamp in the forefront of this picture caught my eye with the light colored opaque base and interesting shade; but look at the others – the shapes, the colors, the shades…
Look up!
There is beauty all around.
