Oh, my list is endless. I’m sure your list of thanksgivings is endless, too! My heart is full. And I pray yours is too.
In the journey of life, money and society affords us many, many things.
But I have learned, it is not with having things, that happiness brings.
Joy is deep within my heart and soul.
Contentment and thanksgiving, a daily goal.
We cannot be filled by things,
May our lives LORD, be to You, a beauty filled offering.
May in humbling and bowing down,
We receive an eternal crown.
All in, and of, this world will amount to dust,
Except for the eternal souls You’ve given us.
May our hearts to You, GOD, we bring,
Fill us with love to be an offering.
Pour us out, and Oh, fill us up.
May we drink from Your eternal cup.
We give thanks to you this day,
Bless us LORD,
Hold us close,
Speak to us,
Protect our families,
Provide needs,
Superimpose your grace upon us,
Guide us,
Favor us,
Allow us to grow in wisdom and knowledge,
Draw us, and every single one we meet, ever closer to Your side,
Give us friends and family, with whom to abide.
For You,
Your love,
Your mercy,
Your grace,
We continually, beseech Your ever loving face.
Our lives an offering,
To You, we bring.
