A friend asked me to go see a play with her at the Lamp Light Theatre… How could I resist going with my friend to a theatre named Lamp Light? Well, I couldn’t. She gifted me my ticket and picked me up and we rode in style. Her vehicle was as big as a small airplane. I think I would’ve been good to use an airplane step ladder to get in and out, especially with my pointy toe heels! It was a bit comical. My friend has a vast array of vehicles, and I never know which one she will arrive in; but guaranteed, we always go in style!
And of course I had to take a few pictures of lamp lights!
The theatre was designed by New York architect, C.K. Howell. There was a fire in 1945 that totally destroyed the theatre, and it was rebuilt in 1947. I am guessing that the lamp lights I photographed are from 1947.
From the outside, to the inside, there was beauty all around.
Look up, my friends!
Happy weekend!
