When you think of summertime, what do you think of? Me? What do I think of? Oh, thank you kindly for asking! I think of a tomato sandwich with Duke’s mayo and garden tomatoes with salt and pepper. With those thoughts in mind, I tried this White Blender Bread recipe.
This is a wonderful recipe, Trim Healthy Mama’s.
And as you can see from the abundance of pictures, I was pleased that it turned out so well. You never know with bread, do you? Well, I don’t.
This delicious bread is on page 242 of the new Trim Healthy Table cookbook and it is a Fuel Pull. It is combined in three easy steps and I will be making it again! I used the yogurt verses cottage cheese option.
These first few pictures are the fresh-out-of-the-oven loaf:
I was so pleased with how it browned…
There was a slight wave in my bread. I call it character…
After it cooled a bit and I removed it from the pan, it still resembled a loaf of bread.
I wasn’t hungry when it came out of the oven; but The Salesman was, so I buttered two pieces for him.
And this is the reason I will be making it again. When I got up the next morning, he had cut more from the other end of the loaf.
The following day for lunch, I made my tomato sandwich, with provolone and sun-dried tomato turkey.
And Duke’s!
Try this one mama’s. It is a keeper!
