Happy Friday! Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful and wonder filled! We have so much to be thankful for, don’t we? We tried something new for Thanksgiving last year and again this year! You know since my mom and dad are no longer living, it has been a challenge the last few holidays for me. I miss them both. I miss the sense of family and togetherness that I felt from my parents. I miss the traditions and the routines that we always had and did. I miss their presence at holidays especially. It is a new season. New doesn’t always mean that it is easy; but I do want to take a positive approach to this new season in believing that it will be good.
I had the privilege of attending a holiday choir concert with a friend recently. It was so enjoyable. The church (which I’d never been inside before) was lovely and filled to the brim with those happy to share in the music and fellowship.
And of course, I thought the stained glass was beautiful. The light shining through the colored glass is beautiful to me. I enjoy finding beauty everywhere I go.
Happy weekend, friends.
Look up!
