Merry Monday to you! The last week flew by for me, what about for you? I said I would review the last four verses. So Lord, I need Your help. Here goes:

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witness both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.

I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Revelation 4:11 Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.

Woo-Hoo! I think I did it – thank you Lord!

Next week I plan to tuck John 1:14 in my heart: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. This verse makes me think of this picture of Simeon holding our sweet Savior:dsc01593To think that the Logos, the Lord Jesus Christ, tabernacled, pitched His tent, moved in the neighborhood is amazing to me. Glory! To think that He came in a veil of flesh…Glory! I see why this verse repeats the word glory. This picture hangs central in our home and I pray that He who came in the flesh and dwelt among us is central in our hearts too.

"…full of grace & truth." Beautiful, powerful words. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
    Now I'm off to post…

    Great!

I finally gathered all my verses together so I could remember what all I said I would memorize! (Obviously I’m not doing a good memorizing if I couldn’t even remember which ones I had said I would remember!)

Way to go Lora!!! A review…is a great idea to keep them fresh and alive so we don't forget!!! I only know one of these and parts of the other 3. The easy one, I did not know the reference.

I was looking for your email cuz as you know I'm not suppose to be blogging! Another violation but it's afternoon and the LORD has been first all morning, His Word, my worship time & Word time…I'll confess and ask His forgiveness!

I should have added your blog to my
Blogs I Follow before my 40 days started, but I have now. I just wanted to remind you or let you know that I pray frequently over at
Lighthouse of Prayer (a team blog)

Bless you for your visit & sweet words for me. Loved your daughters dressed alike photos! They are so beautiful and I enjoyed seeing them grow.
