Next week I plan to tuck John 1:14 in my heart: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. This verse makes me think of this picture of Simeon holding our sweet Savior:
To think that the Logos, the Lord Jesus Christ, tabernacled, pitched His tent, moved in the neighborhood is amazing to me. Glory! To think that He came in a veil of flesh…Glory! I see why this verse repeats the word glory. This picture hangs central in our home and I pray that He who came in the flesh and dwelt among us is central in our hearts too.
"…full of grace & truth." Beautiful, powerful words. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

I finally gathered all my verses together so I could remember what all I said I would memorize! (Obviously I’m not doing a good memorizing if I couldn’t even remember which ones I had said I would remember!)
