Oh, there are so many advantages to being invited to travel with the Salesman.I enjoy being together and snapping pictures as he heads to his appointments. While he’s on the phone, I enjoy the scenery and clouds.I’m always on the lookout for old homes and today I find one nestled in the valley. The Salesman is drawn to creeks, streams and babbling brooks.Sometimes the day of travel has a delicious ending at a linen clad tablecloth by a cozy fire.

Oooh…I want that old house!
We drive to Missouri every summer and I love the old houses we pass. I wonder who built them, what the first woman to live there was like, who was in their family, why it sits alone and neglected now.
Makes me want to move in and make it a home once more.

I saw a book title yesterday at the library from a distance. It said “God is a Saleman” I have no idea what the book is about but if God’s the saleman I would go with Him too. B

We are unloading in GA right now and going to be heading to New Jersey soon. I’m loving this southern warm sunshine today. The stopping time isn’t long enough! Well to my husband who’s mind is on loads and miles it is… lol. We arrived here last night and are heading north in about an hour or so.
It was great to see your pics.. beautiful!

Reminds me of this line from Lucy Maud Montgomery ~
“I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls off a string.”

Joanne, I have many of the same thoughts when we pass old homes – I just love them!
Patty, when you head this way we can *try* to find it again! I’m about as directionless as they come!
B, I have not heard of that book. I will have to check it out.
Annie, I know you know first hand what it is like to travel with your dear husband.
Beth and Cindy, I love traveling with the Salesman, it is always an adventure!
Dear Nancy, I so agree with the beautiful quote you shared about the simple little pleasures – how true!
