I went in a different direction when I started my morning prayer walk around our yard and was I ever glad I did because I saw a beautiful yellow and black butterfly floating around the Abelia blooms. I decided to stop my stick and branch picking up/acting like I was an ice-skater, and just follow the male eastern tiger swallowtail as he flitted from bloom to bloom.
It was a whimsical adventure.
I just followed along as he went from the blooms that were up high to blooms that hung down low and then he’d flutter to another bloom and up again.
He seemed so light and carefree in his journey among the Abelia blooms.
It was a beautiful to move behind him and capture pictures and video. In one clip of video, I even said, “You are beautiful!”
The whole earth is full of God’s glory.
