Mean Green Juice

Trim Healthy Mama

26 Oct

I’ve been thinking of the saying:

You become like the five people you hang around.

I believe it is true.  Take a look at who you are hanging around and you will find that you are similar in many ways.  In this season of distancing, I’ve been inspired by friends on social media.  One real life friend, Melissa, shared how her husband had started on this Mean Green Juice Recipe from Joe Cross of Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. As she listed his goals, I started nodding my head in agreement.

Last year about this time, I headed off to China to be with Victoria Leigh, and though we ate very healthy as most of their culture does, not everything on our amazing adventure fit in that category, and it became so easy to inch away from my goals.

Then insert Cornteen.

Sometimes with my oils, I do what is called a reset.  I stop what I’m doing and tell the Lord about the overwhelming or frustrating situation, I place a drop of oil on my palms and rub them together and then inhale the oil as I release the situation to Him. As I release my feelings, I inhale His Truth and goodness.  I’d been thinking of doing a fast of some sorts for a while.  Only thinking of doing it until I was spurred on by Melissa’s post.

So, I’m doing a reset with my health goals. Just coming to the Lord and saying here are my goals, and I’m placing the oil of Release in my palms to anything that is not a part of my kingdom goals. Today is the third day of my health reboot with the Mean Green Juice.  Anyone else want to join in? I love to have friends join in the journey.
