Friends, it’s the 15th of the month and that means that we have made it to our last verse of 2020. I want to celebrate! Of course, celebrations are up my sleeve just as natural as my long arms! I love to celebrate people and occasions! So, let’s celebrate today! Let’s celebrate 2020 – yes, this year has been so good to me! Did you know that I started back hosting the Scripture Memory Team during this crazy season? Yes, March 15th was the restart date! Isn’t that good news? I wish I could type some headlines for the newspapers…I just think we could all use some good news.
So, throughout a unique year, we have memorized 18 verses and are starting on our 19th verse! WooHoo! The Word of God has remained constant in an ever changing season. Hallelujah! I have grown in faith and hope and love because of the Word of God. And I pray that you have too!
I have enjoyed seeing familiar names on these posts – ones that were partners in Scripture Memory with me a decade ago, and the new friends that have joined, too. I welcome all of you. Join in with us today. It is never too late to start.
My last verse of 2020 is a Passion Translation version of one of my mom’s favorite verses:
Lora Osburn, Morristown, TN:
“Winsome words spoken at just the right time are as appealing as apples gilded in gold and surrounded with silver.” Proverbs 25:11, TPT
Isn’t that a lovely word picture?
I want my words, both the ones I speak, and the ones I think, to be silver and gold.
Reading your verse in the comments will be a highlight of my day. I esteem you highly in love and am so glad that you are here.
