Have you ever been around someone that flat out enjoys and loves what they do? Well, besides me with Jesus and my oils! Seriously, it’s just fun to be around them! We had the pleasure of hosting The Salesman’s nephew, David, and let me tell you:
David is all about computers. I’d say he is passionate about computers.
I found out there is this a whole computer lingo that made it sound like David was speaking a foreign language. Especially when he got really excited and would talk kinda fast! Occasionally I’d understand a word like *processor*; but, other than that, it could have been Greek.
As a youngster, David builds computers and he came to install a computer system The Salesman asked him to build for him. If you know The Salesman, he is picky.
My favorite part of David’s visit was when he’d come to the kitchen and ask me if I wanted to come see *something* about his computer. Sometimes computer parts would accompany him to the kitchen, like he was a teacher with visual aids! David, was so excited about his computers and what they were able to accomplish that he invited me into his world. I could not resist, and every time he asked, I went to sit and listen and even tried to ask intelligent questions. It was just fun being around Dave and his excitement. David is also a personable and caring and compassionate young man.
I remember previous visits in his younger days of him making cookies and reading and snuggling with The Salesman at our home as shown in the pictures. How quickly the years go by. Our quiet home was once again filled with David’s joy and passionate, and compassionate, spirit. David is a delightful young man.
Family is a beautiful gift.
