Lora Lovin Osburn is an author, poet, speaker, wife, mom, friend, and natural health enthusiast. She carries on the tradition of her forefathers, and mothers, who were readers, speakers, and doers, of The Truth. Here, By The Lamp Light, she writes and shares what she sees and hears God doing in her life.
Lora blogs because she wants to help other women find their voice, and even beauty, by living, looking, and loving beyond the abuse, hurts, and sorrows of this life. Abuse led her to gain over 113 pounds, of which she intentionally got rid of over 20 years ago, so Lora shares her healthy lifestyle. In her search for health and wellness, she discovered Young Living essential oils and loves to share her story with other women in their search for holistic health. Abuse told Lora to be quiet; but, she writes devotionals weekly (and even wrote a devotional post for Beth Moore’s Blog!) Abuse said she was only for dark places; but, Lora is finding beauty beyond dark seasons and sharing what she now sees from a new perspective in hopes that others will be encouraged.
There is a place that is beyond, and past, abuse. There is joy, love, and beauty. Lora believes that God is working everything for her good. And she wants you to see He is doing the same for you.
