We have just left what I'm calling a *pocket of peace* in the Carolinas. Doesn't everyone love a dress, or a pair of slacks, with pockets? The pockets have so many positive points including that they provide a place for your hands to rest when your hands need some rest. July has brought so many beautiful blooms to our garden. From the fragrant, and exquisite, gardenias to the "sweet summer" hydrangeas that are so appropriately named, I am enjoying each and every bloom. As a little girl, I grew up in a garden family and enjoyed all the vegetables we grew and harvested and then gathered around the table and ate as a family.
