Yes it was May and I still had my Nativity Scene out

Home Sweet Home· Reflections

30 May

It was so good to be back in Sunday school this last week, even though we arrived fashionably late and y'all, there was no back way to get to our seats on the far side of the room.  You have to walk all the way across the front and behind the teacher...  We love our Sunday School class teacher and classmates - Sunday School was what we were first invited to at our church.  Not long after we arrived this Sunday, our teacher introduced a man named David who he'd asked to share about his near death ... Hello, friends! You probably know that I don’t pick the monthly Scripture Memory Team verse because I’m doing the Dwell Differently monthly subscription program; but there are so many months when I find the verse they pick to be timely for exactly where I am on my journey. And this month was no exception with Psalm 121:8. I am so thankful for God’s Truth. Dwell Differently is a monthly subscription program that I utilize to help me memorize Scripture by visually associating a Bible verse ... Read More about Scripture Memory Team 2025 – Verse 5

Let's march on in March and memorize the Word of God! My faith has been the foundation of anything good that has occurred in me. Hiding God’s word in my heart has strengthened and encouraged me with the truth to press on!  This month we are memorizing John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Feel free to screenshot the verse and memorize with me! #Scripture #ScriptureMemory ... You’ve come a long way, baby!

Health & Wellness

28 Feb

Feeling like the Virginia Slims slogan “You’ve come a long way baby” cause my last impulse purchase at the grocery store was a watermelon.   I shared more about my journey off sugar and how I use to impulse buy sweets and hide Krispy Kreme donuts in the oven til I forgot they were there and my children asked why the oven was on fire in my monthly email. It goes out the first of the month. Share your email with me if you want to read the rest of the story. #LifeCanBeSweetWithoutSugar ... Read More about You’ve come a long way, baby!
