I Believe

Scripture Memory Team

15 Jul

It’s the mid-month check in for our Scripture Memory Team where you are welcome to type your verse out in the comments ~ by memory!!! No red pens here. No one will correct your verse if you don’t have it exactly. No one will judge you here. This is to aid you in memorizing the Word of God. This is to encourage you to keep pressing on. Let’s flex our memorization muscles. Go ahead, type John 6:29 out in the comments. “Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the ... Read More about I Believe

Happy July 1st and Happy Scripture Memory Team day! John 6:29 narrows down the directive to one point: Believe in Jesus Christ. Simple; but, not always easy. The world calls us to believe in people and *things* that aren't real. But The Word calls us to believe in the One and Only: Jesus. Our July verse: Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." John 6:29 Let's learn the Word and believe In Jesus. Believing In Jesus is the best. When ... Celebrating

A Beautiful Life

22 Jun

I have just picked the first pink hydrangeas from our courtyard and put them in a vase on the kitchen counter. I am celebrating my birthday today and what better way than to treasure hunt for beauty right here at home! I am so thankful to the Lord that He, does indeed: "You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance." Psalm 65:11 Yes and amen. Crowns and carts. I have flowers in my cart today. Bounty. Overflow and abundance. The Lord, He is ... Read More about Celebrating

Happy June and Happy Scripture Memory Team Day, my friends! I am so thankful we are a team that is memorizing Truth. The verse we are joining together to learn this month is Hebrews 2:1: “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.” This verse is so timely to learn especially with the month that welcomes summer since we tend to relax our schedules during this season. I’ve been thinking about taking a break ... Read More about Scripture Memory Team – 2022 – Verse 6

Checks & Balances

Hearing· Prayer Poem· Reflections

23 May

The Lord and I have different definitions of the concept of *day of rest* because He slowed me down in a way on my set aside day of rest that as I look back, has me re-callibrating and bringing my definition of rest more in line with His. Sometimes the Lord gets our attention in ways we don't plan or understand. His ways are always best. My early morning thoughts have had me mulling over a couple frustrating *things* that happened yesterday and what better way to process them than to ... Read More about Checks & Balances
