A Pocket of Peace
We have just left what I'm calling a *pocket of peace* in the Carolinas. Doesn't everyone love a dress, or a pair of slacks, with pockets? The pockets have so many positive points including that they provide a place for your hands to rest when your hands need some rest. Finding Beauty in Every Face & Place – Favorite flowers
July has brought so many beautiful blooms to our garden. From the fragrant, and exquisite, gardenias to the "sweet summer" hydrangeas that are so appropriately named, I am enjoying each and every bloom. As a little girl, I grew up in a garden family and enjoyed all the vegetables we grew and harvested and then gathered around the table and ate as a family. The time planting, weeding, tending the garden, then snapping beans, shelling peas, picking tomatoes, and silking corn as a family has greatly impacted my love for vegetables.
